In the end...
At the end of the novel Lord of the Flies, Ralph weeps for the loss of innocence, the darkness of man's heart, and the fall through the air of the true, wise friend called Piggy. Which of these three things do you feel is most heartfelt in Ralph? Explain. (The deadline to post a response to this question is midnight Friday, May 4, 2012)

I think the death of Piggy hit Ralph the hardest. There was always darkness in everyone's heart, everyone loses their innocence, but Piggy didn't have to die; he shouldn't have.
I feel that Ralph losing his innocence will bother him more because he no longer will be a little boy "feeding ponies" and "standing on his head" the island has shown him the true colors of people and he may never see the good in life again.
I believe the thing that hurt Ralph the most was Piggy dying. Nobody could replace Piggy. I think that is the main thing that hurt Ralph the most.
I feel Piggy's death is more Heart felt by Ralph beings that Piggy was Ralph's bestfreind
and stood by his side the whole time while they were on the island
I think that the lost of innocence was the most heartfelt in Ralph because his friend piggy was an innocent person that died and the rest of the children that died he cried for all of them.
