Welcome

Today is the day we make our choices for tomorrow. English IV will be your last language arts class prior to graduation. This is the time to gain as many skills in writing, reading, and analyzing as you possibly can. Here on this blog spot, you are free to express yourself about the things we are studying. You are reminded about being appropriate to the school environment. I welcome your mature comments.

Today we learned about William Shakespeare and many interesting facts about him. The thing I found most interesting to me was how he was born April 23, 1564 and baptized April 26, 1564 at Holy Trinty Church then later died April 23, 1616 and buried April 26, 1616 at Holy Trinty Church. He was born and died the same day and baptized and buried at the same place. That just seemed kind of interesting to me. Also it was kind of interesting to me how he had all these pictures and wrote all these plays, sonnets, & poems and yet nobody believed he was ever alive. That is some things I found interesting about what we learned today in English about William Shakespeare.

I think it was interesting that he wrote so many sonets, palys, and poems and no one believed he was real. Also it was interesting that he was born and died on the same day.
