Welcome

Today is the day we make our choices for tomorrow. English IV will be your last language arts class prior to graduation. This is the time to gain as many skills in writing, reading, and analyzing as you possibly can. Here on this blog spot, you are free to express yourself about the things we are studying. You are reminded about being appropriate to the school environment. I welcome your mature comments.

Today while researching my career choice, I learned something that pleases me. The growing percentages of male nurses are on the uprise. Which is a good thing because I was worried of what might people might think.

I learned that I want to first become a registered nurse for sure. Then specialize in a certain field of study. I would like to help way more people than a registered nurse does.

I learned that there are many different kinds of nurses. I like that because it gives me a variety of nursing careers that i can choose from. I might like one more than others or I might be better at one than the other.

I have learned that in the Navy you can go straight for an officer's position if you have taken a course in a vocational school. It definitely has me thinking of various ways to get ahead. The salary would be better than a simple enlistment.
