Welcome

Today is the day we make our choices for tomorrow. English IV will be your last language arts class prior to graduation. This is the time to gain as many skills in writing, reading, and analyzing as you possibly can. Here on this blog spot, you are free to express yourself about the things we are studying. You are reminded about being appropriate to the school environment. I welcome your mature comments.

Talking about the Future

Tell us briefly about your interview. What did you learn about your career field that you didn't know before this interview? What was the most valuable or interesting thing you learned during the interview? Has the interview changed your mind about pursuing this career? Why or why not? (The deadline to post a response to this blog is midnight Sunday, February 27, 2011.)

I interviewed Mr. Tony Jarrell, a computer technician, and it was very interesting. It is a career I plan on pursuing. He showed me different projects he was working on throughout the schools. I learned how much work actual comes with being a technician for a school district. I still plan to pursue this career because when I job shadow I had so much fun in learning the different things.
